I had already seen this interview and I took from it that Dutton's gas policy falls in line with DB's original commitment which s to commit PEP11 gas locally.
Dutton also clearly stated there is plenty of gas in the system and plenty of discoverable gas available to Australia. I would suggest PEP11 falls into the discoverable gas field.
Again the comments that you made to look they were attributed to Dutton were in fact the opinion of the editor.
And finally and once again the application of law to the PEP11 permit has very little to do with Government policy as we have found out over the last 4 years. The only issue in relation to Government involvement will be once the permit is drilled and if gas is found. The Government will then have input into the distribution of that gas I would assume.
