Last week, we welcomed two newsurface drones to our operations in Cobar. Set to be very busy machines,the Matrice 4E drones are designed for geospatial applications like surveyingand mapping, construction and mining. One stayed at our Peak Mine to completesurface scans, while the other is at our Federation Mine completing equivalentwork there.
The new drones are set to up our game, with an approximate 50% increase in accuracy and advanced features such as smart detection and measurement with laser range finders. Enhanced sensing capabilities will also make the flights safer and more reliable.
This upgrade marks a significant step forward in modernising our capabilities by enhancing efficiency. It also reflects our team’s dedication to keeping technology at the forefront of our work.
