I don't own any gold. Never have, although I've dabbled in gold shares on occasions. I owned a 'stack' of silver I inherited, but quit at the very top in 2011.

Property's starting to turn around where I live, yes, I'm overexposed to it, but the properties I own are very desirable. it's worth the risk.

You certainly wouldn't call gold " a store of wealth" from 1979 to 2007. I'd call it a "store of poverty".
