The link to the full article confirming the governors of three provinces of northwestern Argentina, Catamarca, Jujuy and Salta, signed an agreement for energy development in the so-called Lithium Region with an investment of 400 million dollars.
“This electrical infrastructure project will have an initial investment of 400 million dollars for the construction of the High Voltage interconnected, in a length of 300 kilometres from the Kachi Project in Antofagasta de la Sierra to Santa Rosa de los Pastos Grandes in the Salta puna. This interconnection will allow electric transport in a capacity of 350 MW, benefitting all communities and projects in the area.”
So, there is a “signed agreement” for a 400 million dollar initial investment toward the construction of the 300km, 350MW high voltage interconnection transmission line “from the Kachi project” to the Salta Puna….benefiting all communities and projects in the area.

That, duggie, is how they are going to power the joint! Clearly, this question is now definitively answered.
Oh, and by the way, I expect you will also see the significantly reduced and revised numbers on the CAPEX and OPEX for Kachi sometime in April……so that $33,000/T targeted Lithium price from the 2023 DFS you keep reminding everyone about will also be revised downwards. The wait won’t be too long so stay tuned.
