We have always backed the USA. As they protect us. it’s like when the little kid at school gets picked on, becomes besties with the biggest kid.
I don’t think we will be a hot target necessarily, but a base expanded for US troops and rotations in the region. Maybe some kind of Mexican standoff IMO Perhaps We will have to put sanctions on China , ( no mineral export) but then , they could equally squeeze us. Just sink one oil tanker heading to Aus from Malaysia and insurance on every cargo ship in or out of Aus will skyrocket.
But if you vote green, it is a vote for a Labor minority potentially? Rainbow tape mythical blue bees anywhere activists.? That might be good for Canada if bad for Aus projects. Just strangling Aus . No good . Communists . In WA labor state passed Bill if you disturbed dirt , large back yard or farmer fence post, required Aboriginal heritage inspector. Bill was repealed after protests and elections looming . Labor want farmers to measure environmental foot print of cows , not sure details yet / next July .
