re: drugs when they were legal ? One problem Marjuana is now 30-50 times as potent / concentrated as it wsa during the 1960s - must more addictive and impactful - due to selective breeding by drug growers th same goes for herion (opium) etc those that grow it in places like afganistan are given bonuses by their local middle man if they produce througth selective breeding and no doubt in the future genetic engineering.

Hence like tobacco they should be banned.
