Yeah, it could be anything - who really knows? Just like with any other market participant, we can’t know their reasoning unless they explicitly share it. So we’re limited in understanding the motives behind most trades.However, what we can see - statistically - is which groups are more likely to make the right trading decisions over the long run, and which ones are more likely to get it wrong and lose money.
Don’t get me wrong - I’m not saying this is the perfect time to buy or sell. I’m simply sharing the data, my interpretation of it, and my opinion based on typical Bell Potter behavior that I’ve observed. Personally, I don’t see any particularly interesting setup here based on broker data. That might change soon if I notice a shift in professional investor sentiment - and if so, I’ll reconsider.
