Why is it "one for me"? Keep in mind that MDs and CEOs of lithium explorers, developers, and producers will always push the most optimistic narrative possible, stretching the truth to make things look as good as they can. If you believed the content of these types of interviews, you would have fully expected WR1 to secure a strategic partner in the second half of last year. Obviously that didn't happen, and astute investors are well aware that these interviews should be taken with a grain of salt, because at their core, they are still just industry/company propaganda.
I'd much rather hear from downstream customers in the battery metals space; those who can provide real insights into what they’re actually seeing, doing, and planning, rather than the obviously biased perspectives of a CEO trying to keep shareholders onside through media appearances during market volatility.

P.S. On the subject of "wanting Canada" have you considered that maybe he wants the huge quantities of oil and abundant cheap hydro power? I know it's hard to think critically when you're fixated on the lithium industry, but try to zoom out and consider more than just a single lithium CEO's opinions on why Donald Trump want's to do something, when he actually has no idea.
