The idea is, as you well know, to extract and beneficiate the most profitable sections of the resource. Viability is not as vulgar as adding up the total resource, multiplying by the current commodity prices, and subtracting costs. All of these factors are variables, and alterations in them result in drastically different bottom lines.
Any back of the envelope calculations are therefore about as valuable as the envelope they're written on.
What you need to do is wait and see how specifically the company intends on generating profits before you declare it a winner or loser. This is the process that is currently in train.
And for goodness sake, if you think the situation is as hopeless as you keep trying to portray, why on earth do you keep your holdings? Just sell up, take your loss, and go share your wisdom on some other stocks.
