The reason I posed that question to Andy was that my brother has had his roof covered in solar panels for years....he has his ev charging from the sun.He drives around powered by sunrays.He also has 2 Batteries hangin off his house.
Andy reckons, and I quote....."Green Energy is rubbish". ....Call me crazy if ya like, but what's rubbish about zero petrol costs and zero electricity bills? Plus climate change increased storm-induced blackouts .....no worries!
Fortunately 300,000 rooftop solar systems are being installed in Australia per annum, and 1 in 3 Aussie home owners are smart enough to have figured out the long term green energy benefits for their bank balances and our precious and unique Planet Earth's atmosphere. It also contributes to assisting any power shortages driven by the warming of the planet driving whingein softee Aussies to crank up their air conditioners!
