On the race track you put your bets on and the horses run, you have a five minute? time frame to win or loose. You can't get any of your money out of a loosing horse, even if its running last. On the stockmarket the horses never stop running. Its not the 10 baggeers, its throwing your watch away that counts. Have you backed a good horse or not, throw it, and back another if its no good, take your losses with equinimity and learning (impossible to get it right all the time and its part of learning) but never be in a position where a loss will wipe you out. If your in the game you'll get a ten bagger at some stage (ten baggers occur because you've taken a bet against the rest of the markets judgement and you've been able to stay on). If you've over exposed yourself and not cut your losses you never will. The mind believes what it wants to believe the market just believes in cash so should you.
