    Well, no, because that's one particular CEO that has been recruited. AXE possibly did also try to recruit that CEO, who knows. If you want a particular CEO, you have to outbid that company. Meanwhile if AXE did outbid to get that particular CEO, then NVU shareholders would be saying the same thing, why aren't we getting a more accomplished CEO. So we have a bidding war, still, that particular CEO can only work full time in one company.

    It comes back to my point, accomplished CEO's don't just grow on trees. Especially ones that aren't asking for overly large remuneration packages and/or equity deals.

    Your point is that, if NVU managed to find a highly accomplished CEO, then AXE, and by extension any other company in the world should be able to. But this implies that you think that there's CEO's out there sitting idle waiting for employment. I just don't think that there is. It can and does take time. NVU were probably quite lucky.
