    LOL you really can't get it into your thick head that it's the importer that pays the tariff

    Tariffs are a customs duty, paid by the person/company that is importing

    China doesn't have to absorb the 53% tariff, maybe the importer could but doubt.

    LOL you don't understand consumers, while some might by American cars other will just pay more for the foreign car they want. I could have brought a cheaper newer 4x4 with a lot less km on the clock but no I wanted a LC200.

    The other thing you ignore is without completion from foreign car makers, American Manufactures have no incentive to improve and lower cost.

    Oh don't forget that American Car manufactures need to use imported parts and materials which will be subject to tariffs
