Yeah the shorts still have the ASX200 removal in June as an exit strategy I would assume. It's always hard to know with cap raises, with $100m they certainly have no urgency other than a falling share price and I've found over the years a company saying they're fully funded or not about to raise isn't always true(i do believe him that they aren't going to be raising soon). Good interview anyway, confirmed the 2027/8 timeline to market for the diagnostic

Would short positions and trend reversals be a good way to identify potential direction change? The more it falls more it becomes attractive.
