I think you will find that government funded media tends to be more centrist and not left leaning - any media outlets that tell the truth (and government media sites are heavily regulated to do that) are considered left by the far right.
I have wateched the ABC and the CBC (Canada) abd the BBC (UK) and they all follow pretty much the same path.
