I think it can, we are seeing a sell off of risk - no recurring revenues is one of the biggest risks here (especially when the amounts cannot be guaranteed). The overvalued tech companies are getting a significant haircut and will likely continue to if the US officially enters a recession due to this manufactured economic crisis. Fellow BRN is getting its guts spilled also.
We can already see a quiet move to value today, going from the initial severe market reaction of big losses across the board those with guaranteed, decent cashflows have recovered in line with their valuation during the day. Others have remained splattered. Not to say the market isn't wrong, especially in times like these, lots of value options out there.
Holding cash in a company that doesn't produce anything anywhere near the amounts is also not a worthy allocation of valuing a company (now <$100m here).
More blood to come.
