I think rudd have a much better crying performance than gillard.
And his was broadcast on CNN for hours and hours over and over again showing rudd, the now tearful "leader" of Australia blubbering away.
rudd was without doubt, genuinely and deeply upset and totally shocked that he had been the subject of a midnight, union-jackboot-on-the-neck style political assasination and that gillard has usurped his position by low and dirty back-room dealing.
I even felt sorry for him... rudd was bad but deserved to have the chance to redeem himself and to present his case to the Australian people in the upcoming election.
gillard's crying-jag seemed a bit too rehearsed, prepared and franky opportunistic to me and hasnt yet made it on to CNN special reports as far as I know...
