Not sure what market you were watching but my watchlist was all Green except for CTT on occasion. Have been holding for some time and trade it regularly. I was just surprised, given the announcement, that it couldn't hold 2.30. As someone else suggested it may have been a fund selling to reduce exposure.
In regard to your question as to 'why would you invest in this current market?' My answer would be, given the fact that markets have been smashed over the past week, we could or should see a relief rally. These are times that often create a trading opportunity.
