Roche is head of the pack being the first major signed in partnership with Phylogica & the first to be delivered results, this is now complete with Roche carrying out independent analysis & research of the delivered candidates.
As has been mentioned the pharmaceutical industry & especially those developments that offer a new frontier is fiercly competetive - so i'm sure they're well aware that two of their greatest rivals are standing right behind them.
When you consider the potential milestones from any 1 of these 3 partnerships is many times Phylogicas current market value not even taking into account royalties should any of these progress to commercialisation. What does that say ?
I do also disagree with those that say share price appreciation is required to achieve a sizeable figure should a play be made to aquire the company. This is not the mining industry - where an attractive deposit may be proven but there are always other occurances of the commodity, this is about discovering something that others do not have, anywhere, so how do you value it ?
Major Pharmaceutical companys don't really give two hoots about the market value of the company, all they are concerned with is what the technology is worth to them & they will do the due dilligence on this without question should the results meet expectations.
