I am not yet convinced that the length of time this process is taking is an absolute indication of failure. AP will be making sure that he has dotted all his i’s and crossed all his t’s in the forthcoming announcement, which will need to be not only positive, but also tenable. If either of these two elements is deficient then the market is likely to make its displeasure well known.
