Brokers only pay attention once the market cap is high enough, and they end up placing a BUY on a stock that has already risen a few hundred percent.
Consider OGC. A stock you could have picked up for sub 25 cents during the height of GFC turmoil. It rose to over $4.00, then back to to the mid three dollar range before GSJB in their infinite wisdom placed a BUY rating on the stock with a $5.00 price target. It has since slid to the mid two's. Broking houses don't have the balls to make the big calls when the proverbial hits the fan, and neither do investors.
Hope CCC works out for all those who have had the stones to get in early.
