re: correction is near/alistir I used to get the same thing even before I started trading the share market.

For many years before joining the sharemarket I had a computer business(i think it's still registered).

I would have friends come around say "how are going, what have you been upto??"

I'd say "I have been busy with work".

They would say "oh, did you get a job??"

I would have to say "No, I've been flat out fixing & selling computers, you know thats what I do!!!"

They would like at me funny!!!

Buy a Very nice car(like a porsche) & suddenly some credibility is acknowledged.

Really it just shows how petty people can be.

Unfortunately that is the world we live in.

You can have a $1million portfolio in shares but if you drive a datsun 200b people will treat you like scum of the earth.

Sad but true.

Use it as motivation.
