The rise in gold price overnight cannot be helping matters with the hedge book … my guestimate is they may be $500 million underwater on the forward sale of gold (hopefully clarification soon)
there surely has to be some form of refinancing done now
Macquarie Bank do have form playing very hard when there is any risk of them losing some money
not sure about the state of mine operations, but others posting here seem to be giving us good hints that it is currently messy.too
Let’s hope they get out of this mess … but expect a CR soon
