How are the 'profits' (if any) from nine oceans pty ltd group operations distributed back to NZS?

Unless you can see the agreements in place between NZS & NOF you'd have NFI on what is being skimmed off prior to 'profit' distribution back to NZS. For all you know, you'd buying absolutely nothing. Which according to the financial statements, is about it... nothing
