The vibe on the STX boards lately is less community discussion more gladiator pit. Post a thought, get called a termite. Share some contrary opinion get called toxic. Mention Nev Power and suddenly it’s a full-blown ethics symposium run by blokes who still think Gina bought farmland for the view. We’re all here for the same reason — gas. Profits. Maybe a $2 fairy tale with some rotors overhead. But if we can’t laugh while we wait, what’s the point.So, in the spirit of keeping things light (and flammable), here’s a little poem to reset the tone and not go day drinking. PS someone had to say "helicopter" -triggered.

Nev and Gina's Basin Play

Oh look, they’re back — the ethics crew
With trembling hands and virtue spew
Nev’s too rich, he’d never stray
Mate, he helicoptered through WA
Laws were closed, the skies were tight
But Nev said, “Stuff it, I’ll take flight"

Now he’s near STX Coincidence? Please
He’s not here to shoot the breeze
And Gina’s sniffing rural dirt
Buying farmland where the gas might squirt
A Perth Basin patch, how odd, how quaint
Just a humble move for a mining saint
Coincidence? Nah not quite the scene
She’s planting flags where the gas flows clean

But no, you say, it’s all above board
Nev’s a saint and Gina’s bored
Downramp all you like deny what’s clear
This thing’s about to shift a gear
While you debate his moral code
We’re fuelling up this gas payload
Nev’s not landing just for fun
STX is lit — and we just begun
