I mean, its not as if China is weaning itself off fossil fuels in the process. In 2024 China rolled out almost 100 GW of coal fired power plants, which was a 10-year high. (https://www.carbonbrief.org/chinas-...al-power-plants-reached-10-year-high-in-2024/)

China's journey toward reducing its reliance on fossil fuels is complex. While the country has made significant strides in renewable energy—leading the world in installed capacity for wind, solar, and hydropower—it still heavily depends on coal and natural gas. Coal remains a major source of electricity, and new coal power plants are still being constructed. However, China's renewable energy production is growing rapidly, with solar energy projected to surpass coal as the main electricity source by 2026.................next YEAR!!!!!!!!!!!!

The transition is hindered by challenges like energy storage and transmission. On the bright side, advancements in battery storage technology are helping address these issues. It's a balancing act between meeting growing energy demands and achieving climate goals. You like many western think Chinese are just to make a fast buck out of anything. China is a very very significant civilistion with great long term wisdom in their genes . Balance is always wise. Mr Forrest has got it
