Every country is asking Trump to stop the tariffs - including Australia and the EU. Does not mean that those countries asking are in a weak position - and the US is showing its weakness by changing tariffs by the hour. Even Trump now realises tariffs are a bad policy.

I reckon I can guess which part of Australia you come from.
Dow certainly will go up - Trump backflipped on i-phones and the market will like another backflip from Trump's idiotic tariff policies. Another reason why no sane CEO would get their companies to invest in new factories in the US.
