Brilliant work Vontrader - thanks so much for the guide on these two. I will definitely have a closer look at SLT.
It seems to me that the risk is similar to that of a small oil/gas explorer drilling for gas/oil. But, in a funny way, the shell play is more assured. Resources people don't get involved in a shell just for a laugh.
Similarly with ACU, they have a guy who led quite a few IPO's for Bell Potter as their new chairman and their board and investors are/have been involved with resources explorers GLO, GBE, PXR, ODN, ZRL etc.. They have raised capital, voted out or bought out all of the former board, and brought in a couple of people with years of resources experience. Shaping up to be a good shell story too.
Sorry for the cross promotion, i'm just trying to understand the processes/stages that occur before the big announcement is to be made.
