Supply & demand has a lot to do with it. BKT may have avoided the supply glut post covid & sluggish global economy (outside of USA), and possibly a good time to get deals done now.
Not sure what is happening with WKT (got investors' attention & worth reading about WKT, as much as other graphite players), but sure BKT is obviously aware of market forces, etc.
