Unfortunately polls not looking good for Dutton. Can't understand why the polls have turned so sharply for Albo. Guess people prefer driving off a cliff at 60 mph rather than 30. Dutton has played too safe. Should have scrapped net zero, made the case for replacing our old coal fired plants with new high efficiency plants, scrapped DEI in Government and bigger reduction in immigration. If you can't argue your case, you shouldn't be in politics. As it is, both major parties are pretty similar and just arguing around the edges.
My big fear with a Labor/Greens government is that to fund their ridiculous spending, they will see the rising gold price as an opportunity to raise more taxes on gold producers.
