100% agree with you mate. The only reason I’m still holding is because it seems like a very likely takeover target at this market cap. I tend to agree with a few others here that after exclusivity expires on the Renard option in 6 weeks, someone with much deeper pockets will scoop up Renard, because our hands are tied without the funds to exercise the option.
From there, I think our SP will crater further after we lose Renard, at which point whoever snaps it up will probably take us out for peanuts, but likely still a little higher than where the SP is right now, to ensure they get the majority of shareholders over the line.
It’s a shitty ending to what could have been an excellent opportunity. It’s a shame we turned out to have a gutless management team who might understand mining, but seem to have no idea how the stock market functions, including the importance of exuding confidence and capitalising on momentum.
