Opaline, I agree with most of what you say, however, somebody in Abbotts position does not seek legal redress.He would come accross as being a bit precious, or a whinger. Politicians have other ways of getting even with individual journalists or even the media network involved. Somebody will have already had a discussion with Kerry Stokes. KS will have taken some position on the matter, and eventually somebody will pay, either the journalist or the Seven network. Then whichever way it goes ,the Seven network will be even more pro Julia leading up to the next election.
