There's always signal in the noise. As such I'm always reluctant to block or mute people. I'm always listening for the contrarian view. In the case of bell boy, he's way out of line and has the honour of being "the first" to land on my hot copper block list. Being first is something those loony lefties love... like being "the first" black gay transgender indigenous whale with pale blue hair to walk to the corner store and buy organic vegan nuts grown by the wheelchair bound people in Tibet. It's all about being first for them... smacking everything back to the average or the mean. So subtle & pervasive is that attitude of not winning that it can't be good to let them influence thinking, hence on twitter, I block greenies without a second thought... bell boy on the other hand, I give him a chance every now and then, just like the protestant ethic and capitalist spirit... but he keeps blowing it... so, back to the front lines with him, where he can carry my bags and clean my room, just like he did throughout his apparatchik training at university...
