The forth coming UK Critical Minerals Strategy, set for publication in Spring 2025 (April-June), represents a watershed moment for domestic rare earth supply chains. This comprehensive policy framework will directly support initiatives like the fully integrated partnership between Ionic Technologies, Less Common Metals (LCM), and Vacuumschmelze (VAC), which collectively offer a sovereign rare earth supply solution from recycling through to finished magnets.The partnership's impressive capabilities are clear:
Ionic Technologies can produce 400 tpa of high-purity rare earth oxides (350 tpa NdPr, 37 tpa Dy, 13 tpa Tb) through recycling
LCM converts these oxides to 340 tpa of rare earth metals, yielding 1,097 tpa of NdFeB magnet alloys
VAC transforms these alloys into approximately 4,800 tpa of sintered permanent magnet.
As stated from the article below, I believe Government funding decisions are expected to follow the Strategy's release in the coming weeks, potentially as soon as late April–May 2025, which I have posted before, this is when Ionic Technologies will receive funding for the Commercial Plant, we have to follow Government policies..... Red Tape! Anyway just my opinion, further discussions and thoughts from other shareholders
