A graphic artwork depicting Donald Trump’s severed head on a spike and the words “we only have to get lucky once” has drawn outrage online.
The display in a window at Ohio’s Kent State University was branded “disgusting” by some social media users after an image was shared by Libs of TikTok on X. But the university says the artwork is staying up.
“The displays are part of a student’s art thesis exhibition and are protected under freedom of expression by the United States Constitution and reiterated in the Ohio Revised Code, Section 3345.0215,” a spokesman said in a statement to local media.
