The big fish like EVN, NST, PRU, RRL etc have started to run hard in the past 3-4 weeks. This will soon filter down to low - mid cap producers like us in the coming weeks. Major re rates will arrive soon. The HRZ share price games are almost up. I think a lot of the recent share price chaos has been manipulation for certain investors to accumulate while it’s still in bargain territory Imo. They are likely keeping it low to build up their own holdings from frustrated and impatient share holders and suck more from the pip traders. Someone is banking up big time during this period. I know I have had some top up orders myself but I am not in the top 100, i am sure a few investors of that magnitude have been accumulating big time! This has more merit than the 3-4% of shorting in recent times. Obviously this shorting does have an impact at certain stages in the trading days but not to the extremes that we have seen in recent weeks while most of our gold producing peers have hit new highs.
