Great day for goldies and hope LRV SP is not spooked by anything we say here about the performance shares.
The main reason why SP target is important for vesting is, this should motivate the key management personnel to deliver this target. The issue with the proposed $1 target is, it is actually not a target as we were there before. So defeats the purpose of the term "incentive".
I think they should go with a SP target of $2 (within 6-12 months) + with even more shares would send the correct signal to the market. I will support even if this is with double the number of performance shares currently proposed with a $1 SP target!.
Having said all this, LRV is a screaming BUY at these levels
