I would suggest you never short stock like RIO before highly anticipated full yr report. Better to catch up after the report is safer play for a stock like RIO.
I honestly don't understand why RIO dropped in both London and NY last night. I believe some expectations were too high or may be buy back is actually small given the timespan to do that is till end of 2012!
