    Great post oldgold64.

    Dear Giantpandastock,

Since we’ve diverged on personalities and investing philosophies, let me do you a favor: I’ll help you.You lost money. That’s fine—it happens. But what about your bitterness toward the company instead of your strategy? That’s your problem. The market doesn’t conspire against individuals; it exposes undisciplined decisions. If you want actual growth, let’s talk risk management, position sizing, and emotional control. Or keep blaming external factors—your call. But one path leads to improvement. The other keeps you angry.

    Sour grapes syndrome

    1. "Stock Market Vendetta" (Colloquial)

When a retail investor loses money and irrationally blames the company (rather than their own strategy).

    2. "Loser's Remorse" (Behavioral Finance Term)

A mix of cognitive dissonance and projection, where the investor:

    • Denies personal responsibility ("It was rigged!")

    • Attacks the company's legitimacy ("Fraudulent management!")

    • Becomes emotionally short (while often still holding the bag)

    3. "Retail Investor Grudge" (Wall Street Slang)

Common with meme stocks or penny stocks, where new investors:

    • Anthropomorphize the stock ("This company betrayed me!")

    • Moralize losses ("They don’t deserve my investment!")

    • Seek revenge (e.g., shorting the stock, filing frivolous lawsuits)

    4. Clinical Terms.

    • "Displaced Aggression": Redirecting anger from self to company. This is you in a nutshell.

    • "Narcissistic Injury": Ego can’t tolerate failure, so externalizes blame. The ego is so big that you needed to tell us your position as a CPA to quantify your argument.

You didn’t lose money because the company ‘wronged’ you. You lost because you bought high and panicked low. The market is a mirror.

This advice isn't free. Can you donate 1hr of your time working for a charity?
