Before anyone speculates on Paul's character with respect to this charge, can I let readers know that this is the same Paul Criddle who received the highest level bravery award (Gold Cross) for his attempts in saving a shark attack victim in 2023. He jumped into the river and swam out to her. You might not know about it as he did not want any recognition out of respect for the family and declined all requests for interviews, comments etc.
