Hi, Slange and All,
I know both you and I and many on these threads have long held the view that bank and politician generated figures should be read with a fair amount of skepticism!
Now we have the official proof with as glaring an @rse covering proviso as I have ever read in this disclaimer below.
They even give cover for Skols persistent piss poor predictions on the Gold price by including hallucinations! (Skol read delusional.)
Bank of New Zealand - Update
Mon 21 Apr,2025 - 21:44 ET
The ratings on Bank of NewZealand (BNZ) reflect a very high likelihood of support from its parent,National Australia Bank (NAB), if needed. BNZ's strong market position in NewZealand, with a 19% loan and deposit market share, supports its financial profile.Fitch Ratings expects the bank's operating profit/risk-weighted assets ratio toremain stable, and its CET1 ratio to rise modestly and remain above 14%. NewZealand's household debt is high relatively to many other jurisdictions, but astrengthened regulatory environment has reduced risks. BNZ's funding profile isstable, with a loan/customer deposit ratio of 130%. Potential rating changesdepend on NAB's VR and BNZ's strategic importance to NAB.

This one is even better than the one on the back of the dry cleaners ticket where they say if they rip the sleeve off your jacket during cleaning it’s your fault!
It might be a handy thing for Mr. Trump and his administration to add on to the executive orders he keep signing.
I for one do not know what to expect from the USA camp this week the bond and stockholders will be begging Mr. Trump to do something to stop the bleeding and it looks like all he has is the prospect of a sacrificial Federal banker to offer them.
Watching these shenanigans from the side lines is great fun and it’s nice to be up there in the Gold circle balcony instead of down there in the stalls with the likes of Skol and the proletariat!
This short week could be another interesting one for the Gold enthusiasts will we see yet another all-time high?
Cheers.
