The Sandoz money is a call option for $3M isn’t it? If nothing comes out of the study then all that is lost is $3M. Why buy the company for $9M now, which after all, would be chicken feed for Sandoz. The answer might be, because that may waste a further $6M, and they are in the box seat now should things pan out as investors hope.
The claims of due diligence by Sandoz is odd because the trials haven’t met recruitment and the results are far from release. What Sandoz has done diligence on is the trial plan, is that the point? Of course, all of this Sandoz tick of approval talk this ignores all the other partnerships and initiatives the company has entered, which were also hope creating.
