From my experience, I think that this does not extend to financial and capital management. That is my constructive observation. Its not a criticism. We can't expect the big man to possess every skillset and be strong in all of them. He can't be the butcher, the baker and the candlestick maker haha! He needs help on the corporate side at the executive level. OZM needs to bring on a fresh young gun, hungry for success, with strengths in financial/capital management, strategy, deal making etc etc. Moreover, a hard-headed deal maker who is a dog in protecting shareholder interests. And most importantly, someone who will not put the company in a position where it is exposed to the bottom feeders, ever again. But definitely, OZM's competitive advantage is in on-ground operations especially in and around Kalgoorlie, thanks in large part to the big man. I also think that the OZM board and management are unfriendly to their retail shareholder base. AIMHO (DYOR).
