    The Capital Raising does not even get voted on by shareholders until 01/03/2011. How can it be dead?

    It could be a positive sign that Patterson's are no longer talking about NMS. It is possible that they will not be required as Joint Lead Managers to assist with placement of shortfall shares. Either there will not be any shortfall or maybe a private buyer is already prepared to snap them up.
