Hi Pottermore,
Not encountering an oil water contact in any oil discovery (i.e. oil down to base of reservoir) is always promising news as oil volumes are only going to increase as the company drills downdip of the discovery well in search of the oil water contact. From memory, I do not think any oil water contact has been penetrated in any of the Orange Basin discoveries to date.
