WOW, your numbers are so good you forgot to account for withdrawals etc. 5.3% is approximately a double everything 12 months. Many traders get far better results than that. The question is. Do you roll the profit back into the portfolio using compounding or take it out and invest elsewhere?
Using Buffet's results once proves your lack of knowledge of the financial markets. What makes Buffet and Munger (now deceased).
The Institutional Reality: Buffett can’t play my/our game. You’re conflating skill with scale. Berkshire’s 20% CAGR is a function of: Market constraints: They can’t touch micro-caps or pre-IPO startups—their ticket size dwarfs the float. Cost of capital: Deploying $150B mandates focus on cash-flowing moats (See: “Size is the anchor of performance”—Munger). Regulatory/slippage risks: A $1B or much less a speculative position would move markets, inviting front-running. Institutional thinking dismisses uncrystallized gains. Mark-to-market profits are irrelevant if you can’t exit. Illiquidity premia exist for a reason.
The math is simple:5% allocation to a 2000% winner = 100% portfolio return, even with 95% sunk into zeros. My edge? Position sizing and tolerance for illiquidity—advantages Buffet/Munger forfeited at scale.
Buffet’s genius wasn’t returns—it was structural: float arbitrage, (soros the king of arbitrage), permanent capital, psychological edge and reputation.
Convexity capture: Outsized returns from outliers (Thiel’s “0 to 1” bets). I get at least 1x20 bagger per year, and every two years, I'll get 30x or 40x. Sometimes, every seven years, I get something exceptional, like in 2017, when I sold a company $2.65 x 300,000 shares from .04c. Recent wins. DEG still holds. QUBT sold plus 20x USD. RSH .031 sold .97. DYL entry .14. There are also Heaps of lithium plays and many more stocks I have not listed. And I haven't even gone into futures, CFDs etc.
Gamma over beta. Neither is “right”—but only one scales past $10M.“The market is a no-limit game. The trick is not dying before the fat pitch.”— Adapt or blow up. Your call
Final Note.
I completely understand why you are so bitter and twisted, who wouldn't be if they spent 3 to 5 years studying accountancy to find out that now none of it matters because Ai is more accurate and faster analyzing accounts than any human. Except you of course... Might be time to grow up and look at things as they are, now how you perceive them to be.
You’re seething that your degree is now a glorified coaster. Welcome to the club. Lawyers, radiologists, and even poets are on the chopping block. The universe doesn’t care about your sunk costs, CPA and CA. Adapt or perish—preferably while shorting the stocks of universities still selling "future-proof" education that is now history.
Now, can you analyse the recent report I asked you to do and give us a projected hypothetical price? yes/no.
You just entered the ignore list.
