Its interesting. Now there have been 7 wells drilled east of the Outer High (5 by Galp and 2 by Rhino) and all of them have come good. So a 100% track record East of Outer High.
West of the Outer High in the Basin floor fans and the turbidite systems, the results are more mixed. Shell has drilled 9 wells. Out of this the Cullinan was an outright dry well, while Shell has also written off the remaining 8 as "non-commercial" despite discoveries. Chevron has drilled 1 at Kapana, and that was also a "non-commercial" discovery. Total has drilled 7 wells, out of which Nara, Mangetti and Marula have been duds. So for Total 4 wells have come really good. That makes it 17 wells drilled West of the Outer High with only 4 being a success. A pretty average track record of 24%.
