Before you start trading, try to understand the term "zero-sum game". I mean REALLY understand, not just read the definition.
Disagree! The market as a whole will grow at least to match inflation and most mature companies increase profits over the years.
TRADING may be a "zero-sum game", a bit like a few guys playing poker I guess.
