great article,makes very interesting reading,thanks for the link texas,it looks like the technology will be suitable for aircraft parts and a multitude of other uses no doubt it will come down to cost competitiveness and the structural integrity of parts produced,a good comparison to the inkjet revolution that brought easy and cheap printing to every home but the high volume work is still best done via traditional methods, anyway food for thought
