Stock price, page-1272

I am loving the SP rise but do not be surprised if over the course of the next quarter there is a retrace or the sp just flattens for a period at some point. As news becomes less regular (and the Lynas PR department is crap or just does not exist) then do not be surprised if the steam comes off. It will then build up as we approach the end of the quarter for a big spike. There were a few keys points I noted in what Amanda said during the quarterly meeting that are important. they include:
- The price of REE in China in no way reflects the prices Lynas is looking at for contracts. (clearly the price is very much higher)
- She is keeping very close to her chest who are looking for contracts and at what price, and in fact specifically said she would not answer. This is no doubt to gain the best price for contracts and not divulge what is being offered to competing buyers.
- There was some comment including later in the press that Lynas would not be producing more than needed and would not store any. Clearly she would rather sell lower quantities at much higher prices and does not intend to flood the market. I assume she has done a revenue assessment and believes that will ensure best profit.
- What stands out very clearly was that Amanda, after refusing to give information on prices, volumes, buyers etc finished with one final sentence. It was "IT WILL BE AN EXCELLENT NEXT QUARTER". That says it all. Lynas is coming into the money!!!
